Client Requirements
Redesign a website that utilized modern framework that was intuitive to update and perform on-screen edits and that was an exact match of the previous site’s aesthetic.
The client was specific about the site maintaining the same aesthetic as the previous site. They wanted everything to look exactly the same except with the ability to perform content updates more efficiently. Previously client was experiencing website outages due to deprecated framework.
To deliver upon the client’s request we used the Elementor page builder with a tool kit specific to news sites. This gave us a good base to work from. Most of the work done on this site was accomplished using templates and modifications / customization of Elementor web parts. Overriding default design elements included from the toolkit was accomplished through extensive use of CSS in a child theme.
Client had over 1000 posts that needed to be migrated from the old site to the new site along with online coupons. We migrated a subscriber list as well consisting of over 200 accounts.
This was the second largest project we have worked on to date.
